When its time for a relaxing getaway, look to The Hen  House Retreat for your next stay. We have all the comforts of home and more waiting for you in this quiet country retreat. Enjoy the privacy of having the entire house to yourselves. 

Our home is your home whether you want a weekend stay or week-long retreat. We have worked hard to restore much of the old time charm of this house while updating it to make your stay comfortable. 

​Please keep our home smoke and pet free.

• Bedrooms: 3 bedrooms on the upper floor of this two-story house. Two bedrooms have 2 twin beds and the third bedroom has 1 twin bed and 1 queen-sized bed. We can house up to 7 guests.

• Comfort: Each bedroom has an Eden-pure heater, window air conditioner, and a fan to provide the extra comfort you desire in your bedroom.

• Bedding: All linens and towels are provided.

• Bathrooms:  2 bathrooms; one on each floor for your convenience. The upstairs bathroom has tub and shower facilities.

• Technology: Downstairs there is a large screen TV, DVD player, radio, Chromebook with printer, WIFI and a fireplace to enjoy. 

• Serenity: Watch the sun rise on our country farmhouse front porch in rocking chairs or on a chaise lounge. Amish families typically drive by in their buggies each day.

• Outside Comforts: Enjoy the backyard with a firepit and brick patio. Firewood and chairs are provided for you.

• Entertainment: If you need a break and want to relax a bit, each bedroom has a SmartTV and DVD player for your use. There are a selection of DVD movies available in each room. The main floor also has a bookcase filled with books, magazines, puzzles, games and quilting and scrapbooking resources for you to use.

• Creativity Room: Let us know if you would like it set up for crafting for your group, or if you prefer to have more of a living room setting for your getaway.
